The Blue Harvest project, a pioneering initiative promoting the circular economy and sustainability in Oman, has officially commenced with a groundbreaking ceremony at Sohar Freezone. This milestone is the result of the partnerships forged during the 2023 economic trade mission to Oman that was organised by the Netherlands Water Partnership. NWP members Royal Eijkelkamp and Wageningen University & Research are among the Dutch companies involved in the pilot project.

The project is co-funded by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs through funds for public-private partnership allocated to TKI Deltatechnology.
